- Elder abuse: the Nigerian experience

Elderly victims of abuse in Nigeria are reluctant to talk about what is happening, so what can citizens, the government, families and communities do to help prevention? This paper argues for national policies that will recognise definitions of abuse, respect cultural issues and educate professionals and victims alike to deal with cases of abuse.
