- The impacts of climate change on pastoralism
-
This week saw the publication of two new documents by OXFAM and IIED which investigate the impact of climate change on pastoralist communities. IIED’s paper provides a broad perspective on issues around access and control of resources for herding communities in the context of climate change. OXFAM presents an East African perspective as it discusses the national and regional policies required to enable pastoralist communities to cope with the impact of climate change.
