- biodiversity planning
- legislative measures

- exchange of information
- reporting
- public education and awareness

- An annex with background information on each of the biodiversity-related agreements included in this study, identifying key synergies among them
A summary table is included at the end of each of the seven sections, listing the relevant obligations for the Parties on the particular issue.
- Discussion document on legislative complementarity and harmonisation of biodiversity-related multilateral environmental agreements. This focuses on identifying and addressing synergies and gaps between international biodiversity regimes, with a view to assisting biodiversity planners, and other national authorities, with the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) at the national level.
- Information document on legislative complementarity and harmonisation of biodiversity-related multilateral environmental agreements. This compiles and reviews existing literature on legislative complementarity and harmonisation of biodiversity-related multilateral environmental agreements (MEAs). It provides background information on each of the biodiversity-relevant conventions and can be used for reference on its own or to support the main report of this study.
