A resource pack for working with older prisoners
Guide to improving services for older prisoners
This pack and its related resources are aimed at wing-based prison staff, disability liaison officers, peer support workers and anyone else who wishes to practically enhance the day-to-day lives of older prisoners. It is produced by the UK government's Department of Health and Nacro, the crime reduction charity.
The pack is available online and in hard-copy. Hard-copy packs consists of a Resource Pack full of information, a Workshop Pack, which will show readers how to run awareness sessions on the issues facing older prisoners and four identical resources and activities discs, packed full of leaflets from well known organisations who have an interest in this population.
