The Refugee Law Project (RLP) seeks to ensure fundamental human rights for all refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) within Uganda. It engages in a diverse set of activities, including advocacy, research, legal aid, and training.

It also provides a resource centre, which aims to collect and put together all information pertaining to forced migration within the Great Lakes region and Africa to make it easily accessible to researchers, policy makers, service providers, persons working with refugees on a daily basis, and students.
