Social and Development Research and Action Group (SADRAG)

The Social and Development Research and Action Group (SADRAG) aims to conduct action research in development issues in the context of changing economic and socio-cultural variables. SADRAG focuses primarily on issues of:

• gender
• environment
• health
• education
• micro-credit.

The organisation also focuses on the dynamics of rural-urban development issues. The main activities include conducting research in gender issues with an integrated approach, broadly covering poverty, work, health, violence, power and decision-making, human rights, media, environment and the girl child.
