Report on Provincial & District Laws, regulations, policies and standards of care in 2 cities and 2 districts in the NTB & NTT provinces - Indonesia. This report looks at discrepancies on the implementation of laws, policies and its service provision at province and district level related to health service in maternal and newborn health linked to issues of human right fulfilment. It includes recommendations for action to be taken by relevant stakeholders for improvement.
Priority health issues described:
- pregnancy, childbirth and the pos:tpartum period: access to health services
- family planning: levels of knowledge about family planning methods; accessibility of family planning for unmarried people; husband authorization to seek services
- levels of birth registration
- STIs and HIV/AIDS: knowledge, education and access to services for prevention and treatment
- violence against women
- unmet need for safe abortion services
- adolescent reproductive health: early marriage and pregnancy, and limited access to sexual and reproductive health
- education and services
