This document is the latest attempt to finalise a national water resources management policy for Belize using an integrated approach. The policies spelt out go beyond mere freshwater and factors into consideration the impact of global climate change on the water resources of Belize. These proposals incorporate previous submissions although some of the proposals have been rearranged or their emphases changed. Overall, a wider concept of management and control of national water resources is addressed. The proposed policies have a wider impact than other national water policies that deal with just the traditional human utilitarian (personal/domestic and/or agricultural uses) and include other topics of water resources management.
