In their report prepared in 2009 on behalf of the European Commission DG Research, the Technopolis Group and the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research have explored the main “Drivers of International collaboration in research”, seeking to understand what policy considerations are made when establishing and implementing science, technology and innovation (STI) linkages with other countries.
