Job: Fairtrade Foundation seeks Head of Directorate, United Kingdom

The Fairtrade Foundation is a passionate and ambitious global development organisation committed to tackling poverty and injustice through trade. We are best known as the independent, not-for-profit body behind the FAIRTRADE Mark, a product label assuring consumers that their purchase helps disadvantaged farmers and workers in developing countries secure a better deal. The holder of this new post will be central in helping achieve the Foundation’s strategic goals, through ensuring good planning and project management across the organisation. Reporting to the Deputy Executive Director (DED), the role will require close collaboration with Directors across the Foundation to ensure achievement of financial, quality and performance targets. The role holder will also have ownership of the Foundation’s strategic roadmap, ensuring that the delivery of major projects is on track; generate the annual schedule of business for the Foundation’s Board and Senior Management Team; and will champion excellence in project management throughout the Foundation.
