Job: International Alert seeks Senior Fundraising Officer, UK

International Alert is an independent peacebuilding organisation that works to lay the foundations for lasting peace and security in communities affected by violent conflict.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to take on a new challenge with responsibility for private fundraising (excluding Major Donors). You will be part of a new team and will take the lead on developing strategy, diversifying income streams and meeting targets. && &&You will be confident in taking the initiative on new areas including events, direct marketing, trusts and foundations and corporates. You will be experienced in more than one of these areas and have a demonstrable talent for delivering results. Success will come with your ability to create opportunities and transform them into successful fundraising ventures. This post requires a combination of excellent interpersonal, negotiating, influencing and written and verbal communication skills and experience. You will have a flair for networking and be target-driven and as an experienced fundraiser you will understand that results are key and not just activity.
