The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies is the world's largest humanitarian network.Representing 186 National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies around the world, the IFRC play a key role in safeguarding communities against humanitarian crises.
This position, in the IFRC's International Disaster Response Laws, Rules and Principles Programme is at the cutting edge of the emergeging area of disaster law. The IDRL delegate will be based at the IFRC's Zone office in Johannesburg, but will work throughout Africa, helping National Societies and governments to strengthen laws for disaster management.
