Training: New E-learning Courses on Baseline Food Security Assessments and Availability Assessment and Analysis

Two new e-learning courses and resources for trainers have been released by the EC-FAO Food Security Programme. They are available online and on CD-Rom and open to all interested parties.
Baseline Food Security Assessments describes the purpose and features of baseline assessments and how they differ from action-oriented assessments. It also provides guidance on selecting a baseline assessment method.
Availability Assessment and Analysis introduces the most commonly used methods for assessing food availability at regional, national and local levels.
