The Global Fund for Women provides resources to seed, strengthen and link women's groups around the world. These groups are working to end poverty, violence and illiteracy and to ensure that women participate fully in all aspects of their societies. Since 1987, it has given USD 6.7 million to over 800 women's groups in 120 countries.
