Job: IRD seeks Community Mobilisation Group Team Leader, Afghanistan

International Relief and Development seeks a Community Mobilisation Group (CMG) Team Leader to provide guidance and oversight to strategic program development opportunities in community outreach and capacity building programs as part of the wider USAID funded Strategic Afghanistan Provincial Roads program (SPR-SEA).
General Description of Role: Under the supervision of the Community Outreach and Capacity Building (COCB) Manager, the CMG Lead will oversee and guide the development and oversight of community programs in the southern and eastern provinces as a component of the USAID-funded SPR-SEA program. S/he will accomplish this by providing strategic guidance and support to CMG Specialists, local Advisors and field staff in their work to build understanding and support for SPR-SEA activities within project communities. The CMG Lead will be responsible for managing all community outreach and coordination activities for SPR-SEA designated communities.
