Winyanam Community Development/Counseling Centre (WICODECO) is a non governmental not for profit organization registered with the N.G.Os coordination Board of Kenya on the 14-12-2006. Since registration our activities have been supported in kind by well wishers from this community, we mobilise professional’s e.g doctors, nurses, project and agricultural specialists to give back to this community.
As results doctors and nurses have held medical camps, nurses have organised HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns. Project specialists from time to time help in developing our strategies and fundraising for donations to Orphans. The community also donates labour, cereals and grains to the feeding programme. Computer specialists have designed our website (www.wicodeco.org) and maintained communication through the website, Agricultural specialist work in the community demonstration firm in promoting drought resistant crops and agro-forestry. We are constantly looking help from students and professional on cummunity service.
