CAF is a UK based charity (with a USA partner) now also working in Russia, Brussels, India and South Africa, providing information support and consultancy to charities and fundraising organisations. Information products include:
(a) Directory of Grant Making Trusts: (UK) Also available on CDROM called Grantseeker from Biblios, tel. 01403 710851,email: biblios@biblios.co.uk
The WWW site also allows searches for contact information for some 70,000 UK charities and NGOs
(b) Waste Not: directory of UK non-profit organisations who collect used products/waste for resale, reuse, or recycling (print only)
(c) Dimensions of the Voluntary Sector: statistical report and analysis on the UK voluntary sector, including data on size of charities, sources of income, fundraisers, etc (in print and online - by subscription access only)
(d) Corporate Community Involvement Resource Centre: WWW site has links to corporations who provide information on their corporate giving practices. Centre also provides advice to companies on developing such resources.
(e) WWW site: with information on CAF services and publications, links to other charity and NGO sites worldwide, plus a searchable directory of some 90,000 charities and NGOs (worldwide coverage, but mostly UK).
