The Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute is a public institution with the mandate to contribute to the improvement of the health of populations internationally and nationally through excellence in research, services, and teaching and training. The Biostatistics and Computational Sciences Unit of the Swiss Tropical Public Health Institute is seeking a Senior Malariologist based in Basel to join an international team working on micro-simulations of the epidemiology and control of malaria in the context of existing projects funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The project is a multi-centre collaboration involving also the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and the Network Dynamics and Simulation Science Laboratory at Virginia Tech (USA).
