Job: UNDP seeks International Consultant for Public Administration Reform project in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Vietnam

UNDP Vietnam seeks qualified International Consultant working with Task Force Team for Public Administration Reform project in the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The third phase of the project funded by UNDP, namely “Strengthening the capacity of Vietnamese Government’s agencies in accelerating and improving PAR efficiency and effectiveness” has been approved by the Prime Minister in April 2009 with four main outcomes: 

  1. PAR process management and policy development strengthened; 
  2. public service delivery reform assessed and piloted; 
  3. local government reform; and 
  4. PAR communications/information system improved and PAR partnership strengthened.

Consultant’s objectives are to work together with the Task Force Team from Department of PAR – MOHA and project’s PAR expert to study and reach a consensus on methodology and approaches for reviewing, evaluating and formulating a Review Outline of PAR MP 2001-2010; and formulate key orientations of PAR MP 2011-2020.
