The 2015 Scaling Up Nutrition Global Gathering

Scaling Up Nutrition, or SUN, is a unique Movement founded on the principle that all people have a right to food and good nutrition. It unites people—from governments, civil society, the United Nations, donors, businesses and researchers—in a collective effort to improve nutrition.

The 2015 Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement Global Gathering (SUNGG15) is taking place this week, from October 20-22, in Milan, Italy. It offers an exciting programme showcasing the efforts of the 55 SUN Countries that have joined the SUN Movement. The SUNGG15 agenda focuses on taking stock of the lessons from the past years and charting the direction of the Movement going forward.

Annual SUN Global Gatherings, which started in 2012, are the opportunity for all in the SUN Movement to interact, share and reflect on progress to date, learn from each other and be inspired to achieve even more, and determine how to realise the SUN Movement’s vision for the future – zero stunted children.
