2020 Vision for Food, Agriculture and the Environment, International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI)

2020 Vision for Food, Agriculture and the Environment is an initiative of the Washington, D.C.-based International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). The 2020 Vision initiative seeks to identify solutions for meeting future world food needs while reducing poverty and protecting the environment.

Information services include:

(a) WWW site: information on the programme, list of publications, archive of Newsletter and press releases.

(b) IFPRI Forum (formerly known as '2020 News and Views'): bimonthly newsletter, seeking to stimulate dialogue on the divergent schools of thought about the interrelated issues of food security, population growth, and environmental degradation, and to inform readers of the progress of the 2020 Vision initiative.
