Noragric, Department of International Environment and Development Studies, Norwegian University of Life Sciences

Noragric is the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) international gateway for its seven departments, as well as for the Norwegian College of Veterinary Medicine (NVH) and for Norwegian Agricultural Research International (NARI), which form alliances with UMB. Noragric focuses on agricultural development and livelihood security; biodiversity and natural resource management; and on rights, conflicts, poverty and well-being through research, education and assignments. Its vision is to "contribute towards equitable development, sustained well-being of women and men, and sound environmental practices through collaborative activities that generate and exchange knowledge and provide education in the area of agricultural development, livelihood security and natural resource management".
