HungerWeb
HungerWeb (a project of the World Hunger Program at Brown University, RI., USA) aims to "help prevent and eradicate hunger and promote sustainable development by facilitating and encouraging the free exchange of ideas and information". WWW site offers both primary information (provided by the World Hunger Programme) and wide range of links to material and sites from other research organisations, NGOs, relief organisations, etc. The site is organised into four categories, corresponding to the four type of public interest: researchers, advocates, educators and field workers.
(a) Research: institutions, data, research results, bibliographies
(b) Advocacy and policy: advocacy materials, policy documents, projects, legislation, fund raising
(c) Education and training: syllabi, training materials and ideas for hunger education at primary, secondary, undergraduate and graduate levels
(d) Field work: operational agencies, situation reports, reference materials
