European Centre for Nature Conservation (ECNC)

ECNC provides research support for national and European policies related to nature conservation and researches the impact of policy on biological/landscape diversity. Coordinates a network of national conservation agencies, research centres and university departments.

Information services include:

(a) WWW server: Includes: information on the organisation; directory of European nature conservation organisations (governmental and NGO); national and international conventions (text, link to text or bibliographical data); links to other Internet sources (arranged by subject)

(b) Slide collection of European flora: distributed free of charge
