United Nations [UN] Commission on the Status of Women . (CSW)

CSW is the UN body with functional responsibility for preparing recommendations/reports on promotion of women's rights in political, economic, civil, social and educational fields. Since 1987, it has had responsibility for monitoring implementation of the Platform for Action adopted by the UN Fourth World Conference on Women, held in Beijing.
