Department maintains a WWW site documenting FAO activities in sustainable development in various sectors, covering people, institutions, knowledge and environment.
WWW site has topic based information consisting of full text news items, analysis (short briefings) and resources (e.g. larger full text policy papers, research reports, project listings). Topics currently covered are: women and population; people's participation (see separate entry); land tenure; rural administration and cooperatives; research and technology development; extension and education; environmental information; environmental policy, planning and management; energy for development; development communication (see separate entry).
