Local Initiatives for Biodiversity, Research and Development (LI-BIRD)

LI-BIRD is committed to capitalise on local initiatives for the sustainable management of renewable natural resources and an improved livelihood for people in Nepal . Their mission is to promote sustainable development in diverse agro-ecological, socio-economic and cultural settings and they strive to achieve this through innovative and participatory research and development programmes, policy advocacy and training and professional services. LI-BIRD works in collaboration with local, national and international institutions.
