Global Information on MicroInsurance

GIMI, Internet platform of the STEP programme (Strategies and Tools against social Exclusion and Poverty) of the International Labour Office (ILO) bringing together actors from around the world, aiming at raising their knowledge of microinsurance and more general the extension of social security. GIMI provides resources and services (guides, training, software, workspaces, knowledge map) to support practitioners in the design, implementation and management of microinsurance schemes, community based social protection and health insurance schemes (CBHI, CBSP), mutual health organizations. It creates opportunities of collaboration for professionals in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
