Overseas Development Council (ODC)

ODC ceased operations on December 31, 2000. Independent non-profit international policy research institution Its mission was to provide ideas, analyses, and policy dialogues uniquely aimed at ensuring that a rapidly globalising society will be more equitable, efficient, and effective. Work concentrated in such areas as the future of multi-lateral assistance; investment,trade, and development; Africa; and US policy. These key program areas served as a framework for examining globalisation's effect on development, poverty and equity.
