Ethical Trade and Natural Resources Programme, NRI (NRET)

Programme specialises in ethical trade in natural resources and trade between developing countries and the West. Offers range of services to the private sector, NGOs, development agencies and governments. This includes: Developing ethical standards in agriculture and forestry; Research on aspects of ethical trade including fair trade, organic agriculture (including organic bananas and horticulture), sustainable forestry and ethical sourcing by major retailers and importers; Tools for monitoring social and environmental performance; Working with producers, traders, importers and retailers to develop ethical markets
