The Citizen Lab engages in advanced research and development at the intersection of digital media and world civic politics.
The Citizen Lab is an interdisciplinary laboratory based at the Munk Centre for International Studies at the University of Toronto. Its projects explore the political and social dimensions of new information and communication technologies with a focus on human rights, humanitarianism and democratic change worldwide.
