UNESCO centre for information and research in the field of comparative education. It focuses on the renewal of education curricula, contents, methods and materials, with particular emphasis on human and civic values.

(a) World Data on Education: 80 plus country level educational sector profiles. Overview describing structure of sector and nationals policies Includes statistcal indicators. Available on WWW and on (free) CDROM.

(b) Innodata: database of descriptions of educational innovations at primary and secondary levels of schooling in the area of content of education (new teaching methods, curricula, programmes, etc). Available on WWW

(c) WWW site: description of programmes, databases, publications list, full text of its "Educational Innovation and Information" newsletter, links to WWW sites of Ministries of Education
