Society for Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA)

Non-profit voluntary development organization based in Delhi, India. For 17 years, PRIA has been promoting people-centred development initiatives within the perspective of participatory research. Strengthening popular knowledge, demystifying dominant concepts and promoting experiential learning and people's participation, have been the basis of supporting empowerment of the poor and the opressed in PRIA's work. PRIA's mission is to promote people-centred, holistic and comprehensive evolution of society characterised by freedom, justice, equity, and sustainability.
