Partnerships for sustainable development – a facilitation toolkit
Partnerships bring all the stakeholders in a community together to support sustainable development initiatives and to develop a common vision for the community. This toolkit provides methods for facilitators on participatory planning which can be used to assist communities to formulate and implement their community action plans.
The toolkit provides training modules on participatory methodologies that can be used to plan and organise workshops for communities and districts, as well as for representatives from government departments.The modules are based on an interactive approach that requires workshop participants to take an active part in learning. Each section includes activities such as presentations and interactive exercises.
