United Nations Programme on Ageing
Programme aiming to develop a worldwide research agenda on ageing to assist policy responses to population and individual ageing, particularly in developing countries.
Programme promotes the concept of and is creating a policy framework for "a society for all ages", which emerged as part of the Programme of Action adopted at the World Summit for Social Development in Copenhagen in 1995. Department is part on the UN's Division for Social Policy and Development.
