The process of globalization has inspired massive international protest as global economic policies have often failed to help developing countries achieve sustainable, equitable growth.
An organisation established to help developing and transition countries explore economic policy alternatives. In cooperation with in-country partners, IPD convenes forums that bring together diverse stakeholders, including senior government officials, NGOs, labour, academics, business communities, think tanks and the media. These forums evaluate economic policy alternatives and promote understanding of the available options
