FENNIA is an open access international peer-review journal dedicated to all fields of geography. The biannual journal, published by the Geographical Society of Finland since 1889, publishes papers in English in two categories: research papers and review articles. Research papers address a significant research problem and offer original results and syntheses based on scientific research. Review articles consist of critical reviews of developments in empirical, theoretical and methodological studies.
