Trisanita
Platform for international peer-reviewed journals focusing on sanitation published in Indonesia.
Trisanita is a platform for journals of environmental sanitation. It currently includes three peer-reviewed open access journals published in Indonesia: Journal of Applied Sciences in Environmental Sanitation (JASES) (launched in March 2006); Journal of Applied Technology in Environmental Sanitation (JATES) (launched in April 2011); and Journal of Applied Phytotechnology in Environmental Sanitation (JAPES) (launched in May 2011).
- JASES focuses on applied sciences such as physics, chemistry, biology, ecology and geosciences, which address environmental sanitation issues, including drinking water, waste water, solid waste, hazardous and toxic wastes, soil, water resources, air, ecotoxicology, environmental conservation and environmental impact management.
- JATES publishes original reports, theoretical papers and practical case studies on the use, monitoring and improvement of all types of environmental sanitation infrastructure, all of which have been implemented.
- JAPES focuses on the use of plants to cope with environmental sanitation, such as water and waste water treatments, waste gas absorption, and remediation of polluted environments. The purpose of this publication is to promote the use of plants in their ability to overcome the problem of environmental sanitation, thus strengthening responses to environmental problems.
