UNDP Oslo Governance Centre

The UNDP Oslo Governance Centre aims to support countries in implementing democratic reforms necessary to achieve the Millennium Development Goals. It does this through enhancing programme activities and the advisory role of UNDP in the area of democratic governance. The Centre assists UNDP country offices in their cooperation with governments and their partners, civil society organisations and people in developing countries. Its focus and competency is within:

• human rights
• civil society
• governance and conflict prevention.
