Ethiopia Research Programme, Norwegian University of Science and Technology

The Ethiopia Research Programme (ERP) deals with the peasant economy of the northern highlands, with a particular focus on poverty, as well as the potential for development within the local economy. ERP was launched in 1986 and has included a series of projects. The particular disciplinary, thematic and regional emphasis has varied depending on the specific projects.
