The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health is a global health partnership, launched to accelerate efforts towards achieving millennium development goals 4 and 5: to reduce child mortality and improve maternal health. The partnership focuses on raising the profile of maternal, newborn and child health on political agendas; promoting effective innovations, with a focus on reducing inequalities in access to care; and monitoring and evaluating progress.
