The Regional Bureau for Arab States (RBAS) in New York is the headquarters for UNDP offices in 17 countries (with the 18th located in the Palestinian Territories) in the Arab region. In line with the UNDP mandate, the work of RBAS has ranged from capacity building to policy formulation within the region .
