About the dossier
Background
This dossier is intended to provide policy makers and decision makers with access to current thinking on issues related to meeting the health-related needs of the very poor. It builds on a body of work generated for – and emerging from – a DFID workshop on Meeting the Health Related Needs of the Very Poor.The workshop was organised and facilitated by the DFID Health Systems Resource Centre and took place in February 2005. The participants included DFID health advisors from a number of countries and members of several teams in Policy Division. The dossier reflects the debates that took place.
