Educational inclusion relates to all children accessing and meaningfully participating in quality education, in ways that respond to their individual needs. This edition of insights shows some of the complexities of inclusion across international, national and local contexts and highlight a range of exclusions and actions needed to improve inclusive practices in these contexts.

Building sustainable higher education

With the growing knowledge economy, higher education is no longer seen as a luxury that developing countries cannot afford, but a critical element of national development. Countries must become globally competitive through skills training, given that good quality products and services are crucial in the fight for global profits.
