I am the editor of the Eldis Resource Guide on Ageing Populations. This guide looks at issues ranging from pensions to changing demographic patterns. I have worked for Eldis since 1996.
About this Guide
This resource guide aims to highlight the latest research on the issues surrounding the challenges being faced by many countries as their populations start to live longer. These issues include:
- access and rights to pensions
- an ageing workforce
- health care
- issues affecting women in particular
- the changing faces of demographics - including birth rates and family dynamics
