Adult Health and Ageing in Africa: Directory of Research on Adult Health and Ageing in Africa 1995-2003
Project to compile a Directory of Research on Ageing in Africa, involving collaborators on the WHO Minimum Data Set (MDS) Project on Ageing and Older Adults in sub-Saharan Africa. Project covers research conducted or ongoing from 1995 to 2003, covering persons aged 50+ years from all disciplines/areas.
Web site currently includes:
- draft summary of directory submissions to date, with online submission form to enable researchers to contribute information
- access to Minimum Data Set (MDS) on Ageing and Older Adults
- introduction to World Health Survey (WHS) - Study on Global Ageing, which includes oversample of respondents aged 50+ years from Ghana and Zimbabwe
- bibliography on ageing in Africa
