The paper features a collection of short articles that focus on the complex links between environment and poverty reduction. The articles discuss how natural resources can contribute to economic growth that also benefits the poor. Focusing at a global level, it presents opportunities that can be created for people to move beyond subsistence levels through entrepreneurship, investments and enabling policies at the national and international levels.
