I am Editor for the Conflict, Aid and Debt guides. I write for the Eldis Conflict and Security blog and on aid and humanitarian issues for the Eldis news blog. I am an ex-journalist with experience of international development in East Africa and South Asia. My main areas of interest and experience are in conflict resolution; aid effectiveness and humanitarian intervention. I hold an MA in Journalism and a PG Diploma in Peace and Reconciliation.
About the guide
The purpose of this resource guide is to contribute to agenda building and best practice in aid effectiveness by policy-makers, researchers, civil society and other interested groups, by providing:
- Access to key research, debates and announcements on international aid and debt
- Structured presentation of key issues in aid and debt, including in the areas of debt relief, achieving the millennium development goals, emergency assistance, and the role of NGOs and civil society
- Country-specific aid and debt profiling
- Access to a broad range of related information through weblinks to organisations working in the fields of aid and debt
- We are keen to involve more of our users in editorial support for aid and debt. Please contact me if you would like to be involved.
