Norwegian Peacebuilding Centre (Noref)

Noref – The Norwegian Peacebuilding Centre (Norsk Ressurssenter for Fredsbygging) – is a resource centre integrating knowledge and experience to strengthen peacebuilding policy and practice.

The objectives of Noref are:
  • To support Norwegian peacebuilding policies and practices by acting as a focal point for these efforts.
  • To support Norwegian and international peacebuilding efforts by networking a variety of governmental and non-governmental experts who are able to contribute to operations through analysis, advice and monitoring.
  • To support the United Nations peacebuilding capacities.
