Saferworld


Saferworld is an independent non-governmental organisation that works to prevent armed violence and create safer communities in which people can lead peaceful and rewarding lives.

Through a combination of research, advocacy and training, Saferworld develops and implements projects with a wide range of governments, law enforcement agencies, parliamentarians and civil society partners, both international and local that focus on conflict sensitive development, arms transfer controls, security and justice secto reform, Small Arms and Light Weapons and conflict prevention. Saferworld has programmes in Southern, Eastern and the Horn of Africa, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe and South Asia.
